故宫敦煌联展临时展厅

在午门造房子是一次特别的体验，从开始的新鲜，到艰辛的建造落地，我们无时不刻不感受到这个古老心脏地带的威严和不同。
不大的展厅完全由木结构建造，于是房子开始就在内核上与周边的故宫建筑群取得了一致。
建筑不可以对广场地面造成任何破坏，设计初始我们就对现场的情况作了详细勘察，包括各种设备雨污水井的位置，结构基础上上采用钢板整体保护，整体架空。

Building a house in Wumen was a special experience. From the freshness of the beginning to the hard work of the construction, we felt the majesty and difference of this ancient heartland all the time. The small exhibition hall is built entirely of wood, so the house initially conforms to the surrounding Gugong complex in its core. The building should not cause any damage to the ground of the square. At the beginning of the design, we made a detailed investigation of the situation on the site, including the location of all kinds of equipment, rain and sewage wells, and the overall protection of steel plate on the structural foundation, and the overall overhead.

基地很狭小，往南还需要退让古老的城墙、西侧午门的马道、东侧的消防通道，往北广场也不能突出过多，还必须预留施工的堆料区，故宫里的一切都管控森严且流程系统独立，一开始我们就面临了很大的技术压力。
为了容纳三座原尺寸的复原石窟，我们把空间压榨到了极致，但还是尽量留出一个前厅作为缓冲，既是参观人流也是对室内外气候

The base was very small, in addition to giving way to the old city wall, the west Meridian gate, and the east fire escape to the south. To the north square, we could not extrude too much. At the same time, we had to reserve a stacking area for construction. Everything in Gugong was strictly controlled and the process system was independent, so we faced a lot of technical pressure from the very beginning. In order to accommodate three full-size restored grottoes, we squeezed the space to the limit, but tried to leave a vestibule as a buffer, both for visitors and for the indoor and outdoor climate.

整体外观我们希望呈现出一个宝匣的印象，多轮尝试与业主沟通之后，最终选择了一个相对低调沉稳的结果，并对敦煌莫高窟的塔楼做了抽象化的表达，作为入口的标志。
通过故宫红的外观，整个展厅得以顺利融入故宫的环境，而内部则以灯光和数字设计形态的变化，产生了沙丘隔壁的空间意向，完成从故宫到敦煌的体验印象转换。

We hope to present the impression of a treasure box in the overall appearance. After several rounds of attempts to communicate with the owner, we finally chose a relatively low-key and calm result, and made an abstract expression of the tower of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes as the symbol of the entrance.

通过一道道技术的打磨和融入环境的思考，我们与本次项目的承建方昆仑绿建充分合作，对数千年的历史做出了一次谦逊的回应。
